Now, You Can Access Google Maps in Hindi

Starting today , people will be able to access Google maps in Hindi .
Google took the initiative to translate the maps that were previously available in English language into Hindi now . The task is complete and service is available to android users as well as people using new Google maps . By this facility people will be able to see Hindi names for cities , localities, important roads and other popular places of public interest. Every care  has been taken to translate maximum of the places available on Google maps

To access, maps in Hindi users need to enable Hindi as preferred language in their devices.
For Google map users on computers , Login into your Google account and change the language as the most preferred language and in the next session Goggle maps will  be available in Hindi .
For android mobile users , change the language preference from "Language and input" panel available in Settings . This is all you need to do for accessing maps in Hindi.
"Google is committed to making its products more useful for people in India, and creating comprehensive maps is a crucial part of helping Indian users access information about parts of the country that are unfamiliar to them. By launching Google Maps in Hindi today, hopefully Indians can explore and navigate the world around them more easily, whether these are people who already use Maps to find their way around day-to-day or Hindi-speakers coming online for the first time," said Suren Ruhela, Director Product and Program Management, Google.

In the past year, Google Maps was redesigned to give people one intuitive mapping experience that's fast and easy-to-use, said the company. The new Google Maps were rebuilt from the ground up, with the new design aimed at helping people make quicker decisions by easily surfacing places of interest, local search results, and rich layers of imagery where available.

Google is not only spreading its circle and excelling in services day by day but also making these services user friendly.
We appreciate this initiative taken by Google .
